The Magician of Desire

The most expensive spice in the world after saffron, vanilla has the flavor of happiness.

We worked with natural vanilla beans and not synthetics, choosing Madagascar’s vanilla for its depth and its distinguished, faceted aspect.

Sylvaine wanted to use vanilla in a different way from her past creations, such as L’Instant de Guerlain, Cuir Beluga, Angélique Noire, Bois D’Arménie or Double Vanille and wanted to appeal to those who say "No, I don’t like vanilla"

Why did we choose this raw material?

For her second collection Sylvaine chose vanilla because she loves to taste it, smell it, and feel it when it is fresh and fleshy. It has an unforgettable fragrance that she likes to explore in perfumes, at once mesmerizing, addictive, sensual and edgy.

She wanted to restore its title of nobility, without falling into the pitfall of the vanilla gourmand. She approached it in a new way to give it surprising facets: aromatic, spicy or even sunny.
